In Los Angeles, 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 accidentally coincides with the birthday wish of a boy, who wants to stop a Chinese girl he likes from going back to China. He thinks his wish caused the pandemic. As the effects of the epidemic become more serious, he panics every day as he fears others will discover his secret.
